Adults
You have probably had one or more jobs by now and are seeking
other occupations that may use the same skills, or you want to start over again
with your career planning. Perhaps you just want to continue your education in
order to be able to do a different job later. Here are some suggestions about
how to use this site:
-
Find other occupations related to your present skills and work experience
-
Find schools where you could continue your education or training
-
Start over with your career planning,
-
Take the interest assessment (Kuder® Career Search with Person Match), the
skills inventory (Kuder Skills Assessment), and print out the Composite Report
from these two.
-
Explore careers to
find a list of occupations in the clusters of your highest interest and/or
skill and to get detailed information about them.
-
Take the values inventory (Super’s Work Values Inventory-revised) to help you
identify your personal values so you can remove occupations from your list that
will not help you attain your values.
-
From the descriptions of your favorite occupations, determine if you need
education. If so, identify a major
and look for specific
schools
