While Kuder does not presently utilize third party advertising companies on its web site, Kuder may provide such advertising in the future. Certain Businesses and Colleges have contracted with Kuder for the opportunity to post information on our web site about the different careers or programs they offer. In addition, some of these Businesses and Colleges have asked Kuder to send messages to students/participants meeting certain criteria on their behalf. Kuder will send these messages to students meeting the criteria but will not provide any individual's information to the Business or College. You will also have an opportunity to view information posted on the Kuder.com web site about the Business or College.

If you are under the age of 18, you may receive these direct messages but may not communicate directly with a Business until you first submit a request to your school and receive approval to respond to these messages. When you respond, certain personally identifying information will be made available to the Business. What the Business will do with that information and the uses it will make of it will be governed by that Business's Privacy Policy and not by the policy governing kuder.com.

Unless you are under the age of 13, you may request information from a College without first obtaining permission from your school. What the College will do with that information and the uses it will make of it will be governed by that College's Privacy Policy and not by the policy governing kuder.com.

Limitations on Data Collection

In furtherance of Kuder's effort to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, and to insure the security of data collected from children under the age of 13, Kuder only collects data from such children pursuant to a specific agreement that Kuder is to act as an agent of the child’s school or educational institution. Kuder specifically contracts with such institutions for services which allow the school to input individual information for each child onto the web site. It is important that schools comport to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act and obtain parental permission, if required under the Act, before inputting a child's information onto the web site, or before allowing a child to input the information themselves. If Kuder receives a direct request from a child under 13 to access the system, and the child has not provided Kuder with written consent from a parent or guardian and the child is not affiliated with an authorized educational institution for whom Kuder acts as an agent, Kuder will utilize the information solely for a one-time response to the child.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on our home page so you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. You or the school will have a choice as to whether or not we use your information in this different manner. Otherwise, we will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which we collected the information from you.

If at any time Kuder makes changes to this Privacy Policy, we will inform parents of those children who have input data onto the web site and who, at the time of the policy change, are under the age of 13, or will contact the authorized school administrator in lieu thereof, of the policy change and how any policy change will affect the collection utilization and dissemination of any information.
