NACTEI is dedicated to the development and improvement of career and technical education information, finance and accountability systems. This event will allow you to network with other professionals in the business and learn more about new industry initiatives and best practices, so don’t miss out on attending!

National Career Clusters Institute Conference

The 2012 National Career Clusters™ Institute is an annual summer event that offers a range of seminars and workshops highlighting model CTE programs across the country that are aligned to the National Career Clusters Framework ™. Sessions and workshops cover timely subjects ranging from energy-focused programs of study to cross-curricular collaboration to programs of study and other important leading-edge approaches to teaching, learning, and assessment.
Setting a New Standard is the theme of this exciting event, which brings together educators from middle school, secondary, and postsecondary levels, school counseling, state education leadership, along with workforce development, business and industry experts, and economic development representatives to gain insight, hear strategies, and plan efforts for coordinating the implementation of aligned educational delivery in communities and states.
Highlights for the 2012 National Career Clusters™ Institute include the latest release of the validated Career Clusters™ knowledge and skills statements, green/sustainability knowledge and skills, updated Career Clusters™ crosswalks, and insight into the Common Career Technical Core.

National Career Development Association Global Conference

As we look ahead to the summer, I am pleased to invite you to join us in Atlanta, GA for the 2012 NCDA Global Career Development Conference, from June 21-23rd. Set in the birthplace of Martin Luther King, Jr., the conference theme is Building on the Dream. Department of Defense Worldwide Education Symposium

The theme for WW12, is Educating the Force - Joint Effort, Joint Success, and the conference will explore strategies to effectively deliver voluntary education programs that enhance the Service member's capacity to serve while enabling them to improve their quality of life. This highly anticipated event is the most-attended conference focused on military education programs, and for some, the only conference they will attend in 2012.

Held from July 23-27 at the MGM Grand and The Signature at MGM Grand along the famous Las Vegas Boulevard, this conference will be a major resource for learning about educational preparations for the United States military as the re-enter the work force.
