A Message from Kuder's President

Thank you for your continued commitment to providing students and adults in your state with the educational and career planning tools and resources necessary to prepare them for a lifetime of success!

We are all aware of the challenges which face our students today; we also know the high costs associated with failing to properly prepare our students for successful transitions into secondary and postsecondary educational opportunities, as well as into the workforce.

At Kuder, we are proud to be working with you to help you address these issues and provide the answer to the question asked by so many parents and educators:

“What can we do to help students plan for a successful future?”

You cannot pick up a newspaper or magazine today without reading an article about the state of our educational system, whether it be about graduation rates, drop-out rates — which are occurring at earlier grade levels then ever before, or the fact that millions of students are not adequately prepared for post-high school opportunities.

While these challenges may seem great, at Kuder, we believe so are the possibilities.

The Kuder system helps guide students, parents, and educators through successful secondary and postsecondary transitions and engages all system users to play an active and decisive part of creating their future. As students make the connection between their academic coursework and their future goals, we know that they are more likely to graduate from high school, complete postsecondary education, and succeed in the workplace.

As the concept of lifetime employment is replaced by lifetime employability, we believe it is vital that all of our citizens are empowered to think about and plan for their future – and most importantly, have the resources to do so.

By using the Kuder system, you have taken a major step forward in engaging your students and creating that “spark” for self-assessment and learning.

It takes all of us – students, parents, educators, business and industry, and state agencies to work collaboratively to help create the highly skilled and well-educated workforce ready to compete in the 21st century world of work. We look forward to our continued work with you on behalf of your school and your students.
