Donald G. Zytowski, Ed. D.

We would like to congratulate Kuder’s Director of Research, Dr. Don Zytowski, on being honored with a very distinguished award. Dr. Zytowski is now only one of three people to receive the Distinguished Achievement Award from the Society for Vocational Psychology (a section of Division 17—Society for Counseling Psychology from the American Psychological Association (APA)). He received this award at the Annual APA Conference in San Francisco in August.

The award, the highest awarded by the society, recognizes outstanding contributions to the science and practice of vocational psychology. The first recipient of this award was Dr. John Holland (one of the most influential and prominent career theorists) in 2005. In 2006, Dr. Mark Savickas (another well known theorist and researcher in the field) received the award.

Additionally, Dr. Zytowski is an APA fellow and recipient of their pinnacle Leona Tyler Award for Scholarly Contribution to the field of Counseling Psychology.
