Scholarship Recipients Announced!

We are pleased to announce that after receiving over 1,000 applications, we have selected 16 outstanding students as the recipients of the 2007-08 Harrington Foundation Scholarships. The Foundation awarded nearly $10,000 to the selected students from across the United States. Students from the following states were recognized and will receive their scholarship awards after completion of their first semester of college:

• Arkansas
• Georgia
• Iowa
• Kansas
• Missouri
• Nebraska
• South Carolina
• Tennessee
• Virginia

Kuder ETA Now Offering Continuing Education

We are pleased to announce the availability of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) from Kuder Educational Training Associates (Kuder ETA). In early 2006, Kuder ETA began offering online Career Development Facilitator (CDF) Training, which once completed allows an individual to apply for a Global CDF certification through the Center for Credentialing and Education, Inc. (CCE). In order to maintain the certification, individuals need to obtain 75 hours of continuing education within the areas of competency within a five-year time frame.

The new CEUs, which have been approved by the CCE, can be used to maintain the certification. Kuder ETA is offering eight different CEUs and each is worth either 10 or 15 credit hours. To enroll, please visit www.etainc.com and click on Course Catalog.
