Career Advisor

As an International Association of Career Advisors (IACA) Certified Course Provider, Kuder now offers Career Advisor certification through Kuder Career Advisor Training® (CAT) program.

CAT: Advanced™ helps career guidance providers gain the skills and knowledge they need to deliver outstanding career exploration, career decision making, job seeking, and job placement services.

It is a seven-week, 30-hour online course offered in a hybrid or completely face-to-face format. The hybrid format consists of online and six hours of face-to-face delivered via two separate three-hour web conferences. Typically the face-to-face portion of the course takes place via web conference.

“CAT: Advanced is ideal for those in a primary career advising role, such as counselors, career coaches, and workforce development staff,” said Dora Grote, director of training and professional services for Kuder.

A total of four public course sessions of CAT: Advanced have been scheduled in 2015. The third public session is currently underway. Registration is now open for the fourth session of CAT: Advanced, which takes place Monday, September 14 through Saturday, October 31, 2015. Four public courses have been scheduled for 2016.

Certification by the International Association of Career Advisors (IACA) is awarded upon successful completion of the course, final exam, and IACA certification requirements.
