Iowa’s Cedar Rapids Community School District will serve as the first Kuder Visions Academy. Cedar Rapids Community School District is the second largest in the State of Iowa and is home to more than 17,000 students and 2,700 employees.
Through this unique partnership, Iowans will be on the front line in driving the innovation of Kuder's career guidance products and services for tomorrow's global needs.
“There is no better place to launch our first Visions Academy than in our home state of Iowa,” said Kuder President and CEO Phil Harrington. As a Kuder Visions Academy, the District will serve in an advisory capacity by participating in new product research and development:
- Kuder will survey the District to draw feedback from the perspectives of students, parents, teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders and to gain user experience insights with Kuder Navigator®.
- The District will participate in a longitudinal study conducted by the Kuder research faculty. To establish a baseline analysis of its career guidance program, the faculty will administer the Kuder® Career Needs Assessment™ and Kuder's professional services team will work closely with the District to facilitate annual health interventions to support student progress in career and education planning.
- The District will utilize Kuder® Coach™, a service providing one-on-one career guidance for students and parents; and Kuder Career Advisor Training®, a professional development program for educators.
