Vice President of International Business Development
Bailey Rowell is responsible for fostering relationships with Kuder’s international clients and devising strategies in alignment with career programs and initiatives in the public and private sectors. Bailey manages Kuder’s international accounts and special projects, including account retention and global client engagement. He works closely with the development team to ensure that Kuder maintains a proactive, innovative approach in meeting client requirements.
Prior to joining Kuder, Bailey was a language and cultural instructor for the Spanish Ministry of Education in Cartagena, Spain. He served several institutions including the language school Escuela Oficial de Idiomas, where he worked exclusively with adult English learners, and two bilingual public high schools. As a popular lecturer and presenter, Bailey led student discussions on cross-cultural topics and was frequently called upon to translate and write for projects relating to municipal communications, tourism signage, and medical research. Bailey also founded and operated an English language instruction academy.
Bailey began his career as an international trade intern for the U.S. Commercial Service, and later worked as a market researcher for Comparte, a company in Santiago, Chile. Fluent in English and Spanish, Bailey holds a bachelor’s degree in international business from the University of St. Thomas and an MBA from the Minnesota School of Business. He serves as vice-chair of the Iowa District Export Council and is an International Traders of Iowa board member.
