Research Fellow

Kristen Carnevale is a doctoral candidate in the counselor education program at The Pennsylvania State University. As a Kuder research fellow, she works closely with Dr. Jerry Trusty to reevaluate Super’s Work Values Inventory-revised.

In this role, she coordinates and manages focus groups comprised of secondary students, postsecondary students, and young adults to evaluate the salience of particular career values in recent generations and to solicit input on important values that may not be currently reflected in the measure.

Kristen holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and philosophy from Assumption College and a master’s degree in mental health counseling from Boston College.

It’s invigorating to work with such an impressive and dedicated group of individuals in the pursuit of helping people to identify their career values and translate those to next steps.
