Powered by Kuder since 2015

The Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education (ODCTE) partners with Kuder to deliver a comprehensive statewide system that helps students identify — and reach — their dreams.

OK Career Guide is your starting point for career discovery. It allows you to understand your skills, your interests, your values, and how those translate to an academic path as well as a career direction.

Project Overview

The Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education (ODCTE) selected Kuder in 2015 to provide an online career planning system to students and adults throughout the state. The OK Career Guide, powered by Kuder® offers Oklahomans valuable information on career options, education, and training.

The customized system includes Kuder Galaxy®  for students in pre-K through five, Kuder Navigator®  for students in grades 6-12, and Kuder Journey®  for postsecondary students and adults. Navigator and Journey enable users to connect directly with employers. They also include assessments that measure interests, skills confidence, and work values.

Work-based learning starts here.

Through Kuder Connect 2 Business® (C2B), a component of the OK Career Guide, students can look for internships, apprenticeships, and co-ops that align with their personal interests, skills confidence, and work values. Watch the video.

The OK Career Guide puts [every student] on an even playing field regardless of socioeconomic status. It enables every student to be successful.
