![Elementary Career Development Activities]()
Teachers and parents – are you looking for a way to engage young learners in fun career awareness and career exploration activities? We’ve got you covered with home learning materials you can put to immediate use with K-5 students. And, since distance learning has become the norm, we made sure they’re easy to implement outside the classroom.
Oklahoma CareerTech, sponsor of The OK Career Guide, powered by Kuder® (www.OKCareerGuide.org) created the resources below, which are organized by grade level. Adapt any of these ideas to better meet the needs of your students.
Grade Level: K-1
Shop ’Til You Drop
In this activity, students identify and count money. They'll connect coins and bills with place values by setting up a grocery store with a toy register (or a shoebox if one isn’t handy), play money, and grocery items.
