Spring Conference LineupSpring is right around the corner and after months of conference planning, I’m excited to tell you where Kuder will be visiting!

Be sure to join us in Owasso, Oklahoma on March 12 from 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the For Counselors Only Conference taking place at the Tulsa Technology Center (Owasso Campus). We’ll be sponsoring breakfast, so make sure and stop by and see Kuder’s Bethney Ahrendsen, executive vice president of communications, and Joe Pittman, training specialist.

April 8-10 brings the annual Advance CTE Spring Meeting that takes place in Washington, D.C., at the Omni Shoreham Hotel – and this year we’re a sponsor. You’ll see some new and familiar faces this year from Kuder. Dane Merry, director of business development, and John Milroy, vice president of client relations, will be attending. With them, our new regional vice presidents of business development, Erika Cedergren and Beth Morford, will be taking part in the conversations about critical policy issues related to CTE. Dane, John, Beth, and Erika look forward to seeing you there.

We’re excited to be back at the Florida College Access Network Summit (FCAN) May 7-8. We’ll be exhibiting with FloridaShines at the Rosen Centre in Orlando, Florida. Our MyCareerShines field trainer, Maggie Miller, will be representing Kuder as well as presenting about the local system. Don’t miss her presentation, “MyCareerShines: Helping Every Student Dream Big and Plan Accordingly,” which takes place May 8 from 2:15 – 3:15 p.m. Stop by and have a conversation with Maggie after her presentation.

To wrap up the season, we’ll be traveling to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, May 21-25 for the Asia Pacific Career Development Association (APCDA) 2019 Annual Conference, Navigating Career Development in the Age of Industry 4.0. Bailey Rowell, Kuder’s vice president of international business development, will be in attendance. Bailey would love to share ideas about our career awareness resources and professional development opportunities.
