Kuder Named Iowa’s State-Designated Career Information System Provider for Third Consecutive Academic Year

The Iowa State Board of Education (IDOE) has selected Kuder Navigator as the state’s designated Career Information System (CIS) provider for the 2019-2020 academic year. The IDOE identified Navigator as the platform best suited to ensure all Iowa school districts meet state CTE standards as adopted by the State Board of Education and outlined in Iowa Code Iowa Code 281.

The IDOE also selected Navigator as the state’s designated CIS provider for its 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 academic years.

According to John Milroy, vice president of client engagement for Kuder, Navigator’s research-based career assessments and comprehensive planning tools continue to ensure that Iowa schools and districts meet state standards for the career and academic planning process and the Individual Career and Academic Planning (ICAP).

“Kuder is extremely proud to have been selected by the Iowa State Board of Education as the state’s designated career information provider for the third consecutive academic year,” said Milroy. “We look forward to welcoming even more students and school districts in our home state to the Kuder family of products, which have helped more than 165 million people worldwide dream big and plan accordingly.”

New Navigator URL Coming Soon for Iowa Clients

To support the new ICAP reporting requirement for school districts to report ICAP outcomes to IDOE annually, all Iowa students and educators will log on and use Navigator from a new URL: https://iowa.kuder.com beginning July 1, 2019. The move will be easy as all users will access Navigator at the new URL using their existing usernames and passwords. There is no need to create a new account.

A few new tools will also be available using this new URL, including the ability for students to enter and document their application progress for colleges and scholarships. Educators will be able to pull new reports on this functionality as well.
