The Indiana Senate has passed a bill to require all eighth grade students to complete a career exploration course incorporating the Indiana Career Explorer, powered by Kuder® (ICE). According to The Star Press, Senate Bill 198 is part of an initiative to help Indiana fill a million jobs that will open up in the next 10 years.

Kuder developed the customized ICE system for the Indiana Department of Workforce Development (DWD), in partnership with the Indiana Department of Education (DOE) and the Indiana Commission of Higher Education (CHE), in 2010 to provide students, starting in grade 6 through postsecondary education, their parents, WorkOne Center adult clients and job seekers, and supporting agencies, with access to reliable, valid career assessments and a comprehensive career guidance experience.
