The Alabama State Department of Education partners with Kuder to deliver a comprehensive system that meets their unique academic requirements and college and career readiness standards.

Project Overview

The State of Alabama Department of Education (ALSDE) selected Kuder in 2010 to develop a comprehensive statewide online career planning system for students in grades 6 through 12. The Alabama Career Planning System, powered by Kuder® (ACPS) set the stage for the state’s newly developed education strategy, with the goal of preparing all students to be successful in college and/or career upon graduation from high school. Today, the ACPS serves as a support system that helps secondary students successfully prepare for the future.

Kuder was able to meet our needs for our new diploma requirements, but also allow our students at the school level to pursue and explore certain courses that are only available to them locally. That’s made the ACPS very powerful.

College Match

Our College Match tool enables Alabama’s college-bound students to view side-by-side comparisons of estimated financial aid packages, based on each student’s academic performance and family financial situation, along with campus match scores and their likelihood of being admitted. Alabama students receive immediate insights into their estimated individual net costs and acceptance chances.
