This year the Michigan Career Education Conference will be held in Grand Rapids from January 27-29 at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel. The conference will feature keynote speakers Dwayne Williams and Brooks Harper.
According to MCEC, Dwayne Williams is a school psychologist, author, educational consultant and CEO of Tier 1 Education Coaching. Williams will be sharing his story of overcoming homelessness as a child and how he uses his experience to inspire children and youth with traumatic backgrounds.
Brooks Harper is the premier College and Career Readiness and Soft Skills Speaker in America. Harper's presentation will include his lessons learned after 15 years of leadership in corporate America.
