Georgia’s college and career readiness framework is driven by the Georgia Talent Pipeline, a statewide strategy that aligns education, workforce development, and economic priorities. This system has evolved from the BRIDGE Act (HB 400), which required career advising and Individual Graduation Plans, to the Top State for Talent Act (HB 192, 2025), which modernized planning into the Individual College and Career Plan (ICCP).
The ICCP is a dynamic, multi-year planning process that begins in middle school and is updated annually to guide students through career exploration, academic planning, and postsecondary decision-making. Students must align their plans to Georgia’s High-Demand Career List, complete a defined pathway, and demonstrate readiness through coursework, credentials, or work-based learning experiences.
Districts must also track and report readiness outcomes through the College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI), including pathway completion, credential attainment, and career advisement milestones.
Kuder Navigator provides a unified platform Georgia districts can use to manage ICCP implementation, support career pathway development, track readiness indicators, and report outcomes across schools.
Students engage in career awareness and exploration beginning in elementary school, transition to active planning in middle school, and complete pathway-based preparation in high school. Educators guide advising conversations and pathway decisions. District leaders gain real-time dashboards showing ICCP progress, pathway completion, and readiness outcomes across the district.
