Help every Louisiana student meet college and career readiness expectations, develop and maintain Individual Graduation Plans, and prepare for postsecondary success with the tools districts need to guide planning, track progress, and scale outcomes across schools.
Louisiana’s college and career readiness framework is centered on the Individual Graduation Plan (IGP), a required planning process defined in BESE Bulletin 741 and state law (R.S. 17:2925). Students begin their IGP by the end of 8th grade and update it annually to guide academic decisions and postsecondary goals.
Students must select a graduation pathway by the end of 10th grade, choosing between the TOPS University Pathway or the Jump Start TOPS Tech Pathway. This decision determines required coursework, credentials, and work-based learning experiences aligned to high-demand careers.
Districts must track student progress, pathway completion, and credential attainment through systems such as the Student Transcript System (STS), while aligning to the state’s upcoming Grow. Achieve. Thrive. accountability model.
Kuder Navigator provides a unified platform Louisiana districts can use to manage IGP implementation, support pathway selection, track work-based learning, and report readiness outcomes across schools.
Students engage in career awareness beginning in early grades and transition into structured planning in middle school and high school. Educators guide pathway decisions. District leaders gain real-time dashboards showing IGP progress, credential attainment, and readiness outcomes across the district.
